Three types of accent walls board and batten, wood slats, and vertical geometric slats

Introducing Hone

As new home owners, we’ve spent a lot of time scrolling Pinterest for interior design ideas and watching TikToks of DIY-ers renovating homes. We’ve saved, pinned, and made promises to ourselves to tackle that next home project soon. But somehow, we never get around to it.

Actually, we know exactly why we never get around to it. Because the DIY process is really intimidating!

The Google black hole, endless Youtube tutorials, and hundreds of bloggers all claiming they know best. Then, when you finally arrive at the hardware store to pick up your supplies, you’re presented with hundreds of options just to get a paintbrush.

That’s where Hone comes in.

Hone was created to make DIY home projects achievable for everyone. Instead of walking aimlessly in Home Depot, we tell you exactly what you need to buy. Instead of reading and vetting different bloggers, we give you the step-by-step instructions you need to complete a project. Our project guides also come with a measurement tool and planner to help you stay on track.

We currently offer three types of accent wall project guides and we’ll be adding more home projects soon. We only add projects that we’ve extensively researched and that we’re confident you can do on your own. We’ve already heard from some of you what you want that next project to be. DM us with your ideas!

Before Hone, neither of us had ever used a miter saw or a nail gun. Now, we’re running out of space in our homes to try new projects! We’ve learned that most things are harder than they seem until we try them.

We’re here for you every step of the way; or at least until you’re fearlessly trying new power tools and walking through the aisles of Home Depot like a pro.

DIY-ing doesn’t mean you have to do it yourself. Let’s create together.
